ABOUT

The majority of my work is done digitally, but I also really enjoy painting. I have been experimenting with ways to combine digital and traditional media, but the search continues, as my attempts remain unsatisfactory.
I find inspiration in nature, my family history, and the seemingly never ending search for “home.” I want that search to remain a hopeful one, despite it often feeling the exact opposite. This is reflected in my use of vibrant, saturated colors throughout my work.
I love telling stories. When I’m fully immersed in a piece, I often find myself transported to whatever far away land the work inhabits. My goal is to provide the same for those viewing my work. I want my work to instill a sense of wonder in the viewer, to make them forget about the real world, if only for a split second, and just breathe.
